NO RESERVE ABSOLUTE SALE

1951 CHEVROLET 3100 PICK UP
Rat Rod style
Clear coat over original patina

This 1951 Chevrolet 3100 pick-up has been preserved in the the traditional “rat rod” style. This truck absolutely turns every head and peaks the interest of everyone to see it. The “rat rod” style is typified by the contrast of natural patina and shinning chrome. The “milk wagon” does this extremely well with its 22 inch chrome wheels delivering old school feel with a pop of style.

The exterior of the truck has been naturally “gaining character since the day it was produced. with several paint jobs. and even a little surface rust providing the pallet for this rat rod. The truck has been accented with vintage license plates. this provides a distinct look and also provides some body work that keeps with the minimalist rat rod style. All of the patina has been given a generous coat of clear paint to both preserve and protect this truck but also gives the truck a contrasting shine that finishes the look and style of the truck.

The interior is fairly stock. Only the seat has been reupholstered.

The engine has been up graded to the 250 inline six common to the 60's and 70's. This engine has just a touch of hot rod while with the 3 one barrel carbs and headers. The transmission has been upgraded to a 4 speed manual transmission and clutch that both work great. This engine carb combo is a refreshing change from the over used chevy small block.

This truck runs and drives great it does not stop the best however and upgrading the breaks has not been done yet. The “milk wagon” offers a extraordinary unique piece of mechanical history presented in a drivable package.

TermsNotice to Bidders:

The following sections outlines important information about our cars and working with our company. Please read our complete terms and conditions.

Bidding

As a bidder. if you do not intend to purchase the car. do not have financing in place. or you are simply playing around. DO NOT BID. Non-paying bidders greatly affect our profit margin. making it harder to effectively run our business and provide quality service. Please avoid bidding as a courtesy to others who intend to purchase the vehicle

If you are a meticulous buyer or inexperienced with classic automobiles. we recommend not buying a classic sight unseen. Spend the extra money to travel and see the vehicle. or invest $100 to have a 3rd party inspection done on the vehicle BEFORE you bid on the car. Call us ahead of time we will honestly tell you what we estimate the car will sell for on the auction and answer any questions you may have. With all do respect to all bidders. if you consider yourself a difficult buyer refrain from bidding on our vehicles and as we much rather sell a vehicle for less and have an enjoyable mutual transaction.

Car quality

It is one of the hardest jobs to convey the subjective condition of a classic vehicle through a computer. We see and inspect hundreds of potential collector cars each week and we try to convey our professional experience through our various categories in our descriptions. We sell quality classics in different stages and conditions.

If we list a car as a classic. the following is what you should expect:

We grade our vehicles using the industry standard 1 to 6 point scale.

1 - Best - Concourse Quality - Excellent ConditionPerfect restoration worthy of judging.  2 - Restored  Quality - Fine survivor ConditionOlder professional restoration or museum survivor. 3 - Preserved Quality - Good Driver ConditionTop driver may need maintenance.  4 - Blemished Quality - Decent ConditionDriver with blemishes.  5 - Project Quality - Restorable ConditonIn need of restoration or large repairs. 6 - Lowest Grade -  Mostly a parts Car

These areas of conditions are gray. meaning some vehicles are in between areas. a vehicle may be an investment driver or museum investment. etc.  We post numerous pictures and give a brief description of the vehicle.   Please examine those closely before deciding to bid.

We do our absolute best to describe our cars and to convey its condition to you our potential customers. but please understand classic vehicles are OLD vehicles and that they are SOLD AS-IS. WHERE-IS. It is true that our vehicles do sell for a good bargain and fantastic prices. but you are almost always going to pay for what you get. If a car sells for $5. 00. you are buying a car within that range of price; in respect to value. collectability. and condition.

In the unforeseen situation that there is a major description discrepancy (this is where the 3rd party inspection or a personal inspection is an essential tool). as a last resort a full refund. minus the cost of shipping. can be used to mutually resolve an honest possible misunderstanding. These situations are extremely rare. they are most certainly not intended and can easily be avoided.
