Seller's notes: "All features on car work, but some working parts such as door latches, glove box latch & drivers side safety belt latch are showing signs of wear (sometimes difficult to latch or close). The heater works well, but the air conditioner just blows air (probably needs to be recharged). The paint and pin stripes are showing age (see scan of front hood), also there are some minor scratches. There is a spot of rust on the rear passenger side fender (see scan) and there are some other rust spots and small dents on the car (relatively minor). Car does leak small amounts of oil (some spots of oil noticed on garage floor), but has not required adding oil between normally recommended oil changes."

1988 Subaru GL. Vin #JF1AC43B6JC219177. purchased used from a dealer. the engine appears to be in very good condition (see engine scans) and the car runs well. the dealer indicated that work was done on the engine. but did not provide details on the extent of work completed. car has not required repairs other than oil changes and basic maintenance since purchase. car does leak small amounts of oil (some spots of oil noticed on garage floor). but has not required adding oil between normally recommended oil changes. all features on car work. but some working parts such as door latches. glove box latch & drivers side safety belt latch are showing signs of wear (sometimes difficult to latch or close). the heater works well. but the air conditioner just blows air (probably needs to be recharded). there is a spot of rust on the rear passenger side fender (see scan) and there are some other rust spots and small dents on the car (relatively minor). the paint and pin stripes are showing age (see scan of front hood). also some minor scratches. the tires (with less than 1000 miles on them) and spare are practically new. vehicle passed air emissions inspection. generally the car has provided reliable trasportion since its purchase.  NADA suggested retail value $2. 00 - $4. 00.
