Up for sale are 2 Subaru 360s for no reserve. 1 with very low mileage.   One of them is almost certainly a parts car.   I picked these up a year and a half ago and have done a lot of work to the better of the 2.   Life is forcing me to choose my hobbies. so I am putting this project up for sale.   I do not have a title for either car. and cannot get one.   NH does not title cars 15 years old and older.   The good car will come with a copy of my registration (currently registered) as well as a Bill of Sale.

Before being put away for winter the main 360 was running. driving. and stopping.   Just a week or two ago I gave it a start. and it ran.   It may need the carb cleaned (again. happens a lot with these) as it is requiring the slightest bit of choke to stay running at idle.   Buyer should expect they may need to do minor work to get it running great again as it has been sitting a couple months.   The car has all good glass. including wind shield.

This is a video I took over this most recent summer (2013).   Obviously. it runs and drives.

I have done a ton of work outlined below:

·        The gas tanks in these cars rust out. and are impossible to find.   The original gas tank was professional refurbished by Moyer to the tune of 400 dollars.   I also cleaned up the gas gauge sending unit. put a new gasket in. and sourced a new gas cap at this time.   All new gas lines.   I also rebuilt the fuel regulator and filter.

·        The floors were completely rotted.   I replaced them with flat sheet metal.   They work fine and are sturdy enough to hold all my weight.   I'm not a professional.   I also started fabricating a new rocker panel for the passenger side. which was rusted out.

·        Both seats have been 100% disassembled. sandblasted. and painted.   They are ready for upholstery.

·        Electrical issues were sorted out.   The electrical systems are quite functional. except for blown bulbs.

·        Brakes.   If you know anything about these cars this is important.   The pedal assembly. Master Cylinder and all wheel cylinders were removed. disassembled. cleaned. rebuilt (new seals). and reinstalled.   The shoes were relined by Orange County Brake for $200.   All new rubber lines were custom made for about $200.   The car has all new hard brake lines.   The front brakes work great. the rears are just ok.   Probably some air got in there and they need to be bled again. should be looked into.

·        I sourced a new hood for the car since the one on it is rusted.   I paid about $100 for the hood. and it is in great shape.

·        Probably a lot more I am forgetting

The car is a project.   It was very rusty. including the floor and rocker panel.   I replaced the rotted floor with flat sheet metal and started fabricating a rocker panel.   What I made holds my entire weight fine. but I'm no professional.   There is still rust repair to be done at the battery box (extremely typical) and other parts of the body including around the wind shield and door bottoms.   What I believe needs to be done:

·        Remaining rust repair and body work.

·        Maybe a carb rebuild

·        Currently I have been running a 2 stoke mix to run the car.   The car has an oil pump. but since its condition was unknown I disconnected it.   The manual shows how to test it; I just never got around to it.   The oil tank is in great shape. rare for this car.

·        Replace bulbs

·        Upholster the seats (parts car has upholstery that can be used as templates).

·        1 Ebrake cable is broken

And likely more as it comes up

Parts Car:

When I got the parts car it was in rough shape. and the drivetrain was removed from it.   I still have what I believe to be all of it (for the parts car. the good car is complete).   The parts car does have all good glass except for the wind shield.   The car does not roll very well. as the drivetrain is removed and the axles flop around.   If buyer does not want parts car they don't have to take it. but the price is not reduced.

Obviously this car is a project and no warranty is expressed or implied for the car in general or any work done.   I have done my absolute best to describe the car as accurately as possible. please contact me with any questions.

If buyer is having the car shipped. make sure the shipping company knows about the small wheel track of the car.   I will put all (or as much as I can fit) of the spare parts in the actual cars.
