1969 MERCURY COUGAR ELIMINATOR. I am relisting to help with some of the questions that I was getting. Car came from the factory with a 351. I replaced with a 428. So this is not a numbers matching car. Complete rebuild of the engine. Oval air cleaner has COUGAR on the top and is from the early 1970's and is very rare. Has new exhaust and driveline. Have Marti report and build sheet. Has a C-6 transmission. Car has been restored. When I bought the car it was rusty. I replaced all the rusty sheet metal which included the floor pan ( replaced with a one piece ) . front fenders with I replaced with factory 1969 cougar fenders. both sides of the engine compartment aprons. battery tray. and small spots on the rear quarters. Paint is very nice. rechromed both bumpers. all the front trim. all the rear trim. rear taillight housings. Replaced taillight sequential box with new style electronics. Replaced brake lines. Interior has new front seat uplostry . carpet. headliner. Rear seat and door panels have been dyed black. New weather striping around doors and rear window. I have spent a lot of money on this car. more than what I can sell for.

With that being said there are a few things that the new owner will have to fix such as fixing the drivers side rear view mirror cable broken. aline door windows. hook up speedo and tach. steering wheel rim blow horn and with most old cars am radio quit working.

Would like to sell in person. but this is the next best thing. My not get to my reserve. open to offers.
