History

The Chevrolet Chevelle was a mid-sized automobile produced by the Chevrolet division of General Motors in three generations for the 1964 through 1977 model years. Part of the GM A-Body platform. the Chevelle was one of Chevrolet's most successful nameplates. Body styles include coupes. sedans. convertibles and station wagons. Super Sport versions were produced through the 1973 model year.

The Chevelle was intended to compete with the Ford Fairlane.

Two-door hardtop coupes. and convertibles. four-door sedans. and four-door station wagons were offered throughout the entire run. In line with other Chevrolet series. the two-door hardtops were called Sport coupes.

This beautiful Chevelle is fully restored. and was completed just a few years back. It was previously owned by a father and son who spent many hours and dollars on the restoration. Once the son moved away for business. the car was no longer used.

The restoration was completed by Bonnell's Hot Rod Shop in Fairview. PA. which is nationally known for high quality. high dollar customs. hot rods and restorations. Interior work was done by Kennelley's in Erie. PA. The restoration process was documented with photos taken every step of the process and all receipts for the work completed are kept in chronological order and available for review.
