280 SEL 4.5 Very clean and in good running condition for sale
Current customer rating:
I am selling a 1972 Mercedes 280 SEL 4. 5. which is in good running condition. I have 166 pictures on Photobucket. but ebay will not allow me to post the website. so
So lets start with the basics. the car is white and the interior is brown. The car runs and drives well.
There are a few cracks on the dash and on some of the wood. but considering its original. its done fairly well over the past 42 years. There is no structural rust damage. in other words. there are no rust holes on the floors. door sills. or the frame of the car. There is a little bit of surface rust that can easily be cleaned and recoated if you were inclined to do so. and again. I took dozens of pictures detailing the undercarriage of the car for that reason. I think you'll find that the undercarriage is in unbelievable shape considering its age.
The car drives well. and you could easily drive it every day if you chose to do so. I personally try to keep this car out of the sun. away from the elements. and drive it sparingly ( I have several other classic cars as well including a 1969 280 SL and a 1979 Porsche 930 )
Feel free to ask any questions and call me if you're interested
