Current customer rating:
About this vehicle This 1983 Porsche 928 is an original. The owner has had it for 3 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for car shows.
Vehicle Details
Excellent condition 1983 928 S with the desirable 5 speed manual.
All original except for the upgraded ‘Turbo Twist' wheels.
Recently had timing belt and water pump service.
Brakes updated/eplaced.
Many extras: Porsche tire inflator, lift bars for working in the car, fender protectors for doing maintenance under the hood.
Interior is in exceptional condition with the exception of loose upholstery in the door panels.
Desireable sports seats are free of rips/tears and in very nice condition.
Please note:
Tach currently not working
Paint on hood appears damaged (preceded my ownership) by chemical (brake fluid??)
Shift linkage bushings should be replaced to remove vague feeling to shifter
I have a feeling second gear synchros are worn such that it doesn't like to shift into second until tranny is warmed up, although this may be linkage bushing related.
Speakers crackle a little when adjusting volume on original Blaupunkt radio.
I feel that the car has had a respray in its past.
Tiny quarter to half dollar size rust spot on driver's door sill.
If you have questions, please ask.
I've only owned the car 4-5 years and have identified everything I can think of about the car.
One of the previous owners was a Porsche Club of America member.
