1966 IHC International 1200 4x4 3/4 ton truck and camper rebuilt engine AC in CA for sale
Current customer rating: (519 votes ) based onHere is a rare one for Cornbinder fans. This is a one family 1966 model 1200 3/4 ton. 4x4 truck with Dreamer 880 camper. The tailgate looks mint as it was never used. and the original back window and license light are here too. The owner and his son took meticulous notes on the maintenance and repair. and kept receipts. I have the "Line Setting Tag". the factory repair manual. the owner's manual and paper on all the options such as the dealer installed AC unit that works and has been converted to R-134. The truck comes with two crates of spare parts as pictured including original radio and gas caps. nbsp;and a spare carburetor. This truck runs and drives great. and everything works. but the plastic window squirt tank crumbled. The 304 engine was rebuilt 6000 miles ago. The tires are excellent. This truck has non-power brakes and steering. and a manual 4 speed "granny" transmission. This truck has perfect. rust free floor. but from being outdoors in San Diego its whole life. has two exterior rust holes caused by the mist from the beach. one on the passenger side fender. the other above the front bumper. There is no rust inside the cab. and rain gutters are solid . The body has some light surface rust. Many detail photos are hosted at http://s221. photobucket. com/user/arborigine/library/1966%20IHC#/user/arborigine/library/1966%20IHC?sort=2&page=1&_suid=138888025804907944197431543829 .
The vintage "Dreamer 880" camper can be abandoned here if you don't want it. It has almost no water staining inside. It has a gas stove. an icebox and a fresh water system. There is a chemical toilet in the closet. All the parts to remove the bumper extension and return the truck to stock are here except the window rubber. and I have the tools.
You are invited to come see it. or send an appraiser. or have a local mechanic inspect it at your cost before bidding. I am located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. in the middle of California. on Hwy 4. I will assist your transport company with loading. or can deliver in the region for a fair compensation. This truck. in my opinion as a master auto technician. is ready to drive home. wherever that may be. I can pick up a buyer at the Sacramento Airport. 100 miles away in my car.
