HONDA 600 1972 COUPE ORANGE RUNS GOOD VERY COMPLETE MECHANICS VERY RUSTY FLOOR for sale
Current customer rating:
1972 Honda Coupe - no title. bill of sale only - very complete engine and under the hood but has very rusty body and lower 6 in. of the sheetmetal - this car had been setting on the ground for years with flat tires and the rust really took it's toll - underneath the hood is very complete - when we put a battery in it. fresh gas. cleaned the plugs. it started immediately and sounded real good - the odometer shows 10. 79 miles. and I'd say that is correct - everything is so very complete. even the door buzzer works when the key is left in the ignition and the door is opened - I don't see that it's been damaged and repaired. and the passenger corner of the hood has been flexed some. but hasn't had to have been repaired - it has the original ignition switch w/working key - I've driven it around the parking lot enough to know that the clutch and transmission seem fine. the engine sounds real good. the carb seems just fine - there are no brakes. all that I did was to simply add brake fluid. but that didn't do anything - the exhaust pipe and muffler are gone. the gas tank has the supply line rusted off inside the tank - even though it has hardly any floorboard under the rear seat area. the fuel pump is still in place and works just fine - it's running now with a temp. plastic gas supply tank in the rear - the dash is very clean. complete and mostly working. same way with the lights - both of the switches/lights on the overhead console work - it has all four coupe wheels and hubcaps. and I have put some fair tires that hold air on it to make it moveable and a fair useable temporary battery - it has a radio. very nice side mirror. good radio speaker defroster grille. all good glass - the exterior rear hatch frame has one fairly normal crack in the middle - it has a shiny front bumper with a little bit of damage in the middle. and the rear bumper is fair except the left corner - the front seats and door panels are there but needing repair and there is no rear seat - I purchased this car with full intentions of parting it out. as I have others that are past being restorable. but this car has too many good things going for it - if someone has a good body with a bad engine. and needs some other parts. this should be just the thing - with $200 down payment. and the $2000 balance due in 7 days. I can store this car inside for 30 to 45 days. and when picked up. I can meet any schedule with a little notice.
