For sale is a clean, classic showroom condition 1972 VW Beetle, freshly imported from Brazil after being restored from the ground up, by his 2nd owner on its original shape. This VW was granted a Certificate of Originality after the restoration, so it is considered a “collectible car” and holds a "Black Plate".

This is a solid vehicle, with all parts and components working properly, engine was serviced, tuned and beautifully adjusted to run smooth with a nice sound and it is pulling strong. Exterior white paint is really well done and shining even without wax. Interior is all functional with brown and tan seats and door sides, brown carpet, the famous "VW Crest thin steering wheel", Original 8 Ball gear shift knob, ultra clean and well appointed. VDO odometer reads 42465 kilometers (26390 miles) and states speed in km/h. 

You will be surprised how well this fifty years old machine has been taken care of, it is running and riding like a charm!

There are few minor signs of aging and points of rust on the chrome bumpers and some of the chrome wheel covers which I have not removed to preserve the originality and to avoid damaging the pieces. The only broke piece is the pop out latch on the left quarter window (looking for a replacement). I got just on set of keys and no Manual Booklet.

Car just passed a State DMV/Department of Transit Inspection before being Titled as "VW Fusca 1300" in KS. We suggest bringing a trailer or hire a car hauler after winning the auction, but you can drive the Beetle straight and happily if you are going to pick-up locally.

The car is a "must have" on any VW air-cooled collection or to be kept on aficionados' garage to enjoy a weekend getaway driving this unbelievable machine.

Payment Types: Cash in person, Certified Funds, Money Orders or Cashier's Check.
