Selling 1985 Jeep CJ7 . This CJ is still very original as a survivor type CJ in many ways. Not cut up and no rusted. Not patched up. This CJ even retains much of what aperies to be original paint still in nice conduction. The frame and bottom side floor pans original and look outstanding 36 years later. SEE PHOTOS and VIDEO. This CJ has been cared for and maintained. It's in very nice conduction overall today. I just spend 120 labor hours and many dollars going over this CJ front to rear. Fixing, replacing, repairing, servicing and tuning this CJ. I also just re wiring motor harness full nutter by pass. Also removed everything to clean up motor bay. SEE FULL WALK AROUND & DRIVING VIDEO after work done. This CJ is now fitted with Jeep CJ  (TF 999 auto transmission ) and a floor shift box. Transmission shifts nice and the kink down "passing gear" works correct. The running gear under this CJ is all in good working conduction. Everything was just maintained and serviced for the new owner. Running gear under this Jeep is all CJ running gear. ( Not missed match other stuff ) It's powered by a Jeep 4.2 motor, Jeep CJ tf 999 auto trans, Jeep dana 300 4 by 4 transfer case and a Jeep CJ amc 20 rear end. This is also a  power steering, Factory disc brake CJ with tilt steering and auto transmission making it a joy to drive. ( You drive this CJ - "Not it drive you".  A few Motor upgrades done to improve the reliability and add performance to the Jeep 4.2 motor.  A new motor craft 2100 - 1.08 carb with 47 main jets and electric choke replace the factory stock one that come with a elect computer controlled  stepper motor to control idle and timing at the same time. (Biggest mistake Jeep factory ever made to the CJ lineup)  This CJ was just fitted with a High out out GM style HEI "one wire distributor" and bigger 8.5mm wires. I also added / upgraded the factory timing chain to a higher end, better quality "Melling roller timing chain" to ensure dead on valve timing. Magflow exhaust also added. *Yes the stock computer controlled junk at best factory carter carburetor with stepper motor was removed along with the stock computer controlled distributor. All under hood smog related items than do rob horse power and hamper performance delighted from this Jeep like many do. The 10 feet of smog vacuum line and 28 wires that control the (stepper carb and factory dist ) all removed in this CJ. I also re wired the motor electrical harness. Now clean and simple. SEE MOTOR VIDEO  This CJ still retains it factory gearing  ( Not rock crawler gearing )  This Jeep CJ that can be driven and enjoyed everyday. Nice gearing for the street and will let you jump on the highway if needed and cruise at 65 all day long. SEE DRIVING VIDEO. This is also a great trail / off road adventure CJ if you want to get off the grid. The Dana 300 4 by 4 transfer case in 4 wheel drive (low range will lower the gearing almost 3 times lower)  than when in street 2 wheel drive.  It's a Classic CJ at it's best. Up date. A looker had a question good question.  Auto checker said something about a Title issue. Read the auto checker report in full. The title is Clean = No damage or salvage history in brand box on title. Auto checker is telling you the mileage noted on title is listed as ( odometer in excess of mechanical limit )  meaning odo reads over 100k miles it's a dmv thing on the older vehicles per them.  Some state list or use wording (mileage age exempt.)  No title issues just telling buyer original miles over 100k . Read the history report no damage history ever! Odo and gauges "now works" i cover this in Video also. Motor has about 30k on it so listed miles on ebay as 30k Not the original miles it's 37 years old. other items rebuilt. Nice mechanical sound running gear for sure.
