This big block convertible makes an awesome driver. The mechanics were completely rebuilt. It accelerates, stops, handles great.
EXTERIOR: No rust, clean metal. The rubber nose is in excellent shape and fits nice. It has the twin scoop GTO hood and new GTO emblems. Repainted Verdero Green metallic. It was professionally painted. Not a high end show car finish but very presentable. Rear bumper is rechromed. The jambs were repainted. All the weatherstrips were replaced including on the top frame. It shows very well. New black convertible top including glass window. The top pump, rams and switch were replaced. New windshield. The Rally ll wheels were powder coated. New Cooper tires, a little bigger in back.
INTERIOR: Premium Legendary upholstery and Tachometer were installed professionally. The console was upholstered. It has a white face gauge cluster and matching tachometer. New cushion grip steering wheel.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It is a completely rebuilt, balance and bored 400 motor. It has ram air heads, cam and exhaust manifolds. Everything in the motor is new. It even has a correct numbered carb correct for a GTO. Upgraded 1 wire high output alternator. Upgraded 4 core Harrison radiator, new heater core. New power brake system, wiper motor and power steering pump. Everything is painted real nice. The entire compartment is exceptionally clean, looks new actually.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Very solid, clean metal that was spatter painted. The well liner and weatherstrip was replaced. Under the trunk lid and jamb and painted glossy green
UNDERSIDE: The suspension and steering have been completely rebuilt. Up front it has new bushings, ball joints, sprinis, shocks, steering components etc. In back it has new springs, shocks and bushings. The dual exhaust system has Flowmaster mufflers. The fuel system was replaced including the tank, straps, lines and sending unit. The brakes have been completely redone. It is upgraded to disk in front. New brake lines and hoses. Looking up at the motor it is spotless. The starter and flywheel cover was replaced. The Turbo 350 automatic has been rebuilt with a higher stall converter. The rear end has new 3.30 posi gears. The floor has been replaced, it's all clean metal no rust. It's been painted semi glass black and the frame was treated with rust preventative POR 15.
The gentleman we purchased this car from has owned it the last 7 years. It started as a Lemans,, he upgraded into a GTO. He spent a lot of money using local professional shops that I'm familiar with. He enjoys building them, he's already started the next one. This is an opportunity to take advantage of all his efforts. It was not restored to be a show car. The intention was to make it a great driver and that was a success.
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.

About Volo Auto Museum
No other collector car dealer has been in business longer than the Volo Auto Museum. Owned and operated by the Grams family since 1960. We are the only collector car dealer that has 4 generations of experience with buying, selling and consigning classic autos. For our family, classic cars are more than a business, it is a passion. Over the decades, we have maintained a reputation for dealing with integrity as proven with our high reviews and A+ rating with the BBB.
Buying a classic car can be exciting, but also stressful. We want to take the stress out of your buying experience by allowing you the time and tools you need to get to know the car you are interested in before making your investment, not after. Unlike auctions, we allow test drives, 3 rd party inspections, the use of our shop and car lift. No reasonable request will be turned down.
Selling a car can be equally stressful, but it doesn't have to be. After reviewing your quality collector car, we will discuss the options we have available to you and let you decide what works best for you. We have cash available for immediate sales and we also offer a consignment program that surpasses anyone else's.
Unlike percentage based programs with fees we work with a no fee, net to owner. This allows us the opportunity to treat and market your car as if it were our own. We invest approximately $1500 of our own money into marketing your car, which means if it doesn't sell, we lose, not you. So, we are more aggressive in selling your car!
