1986 Ferrari 412 I for sale
Current customer rating: (73 votes ) based on-Grigio Ferro with Red leather interior and Red carpeting, 27,000 miles from new, Rare 5 speed manual transmission, 3-Collector owners from new, Well-maintained and serviced.
As opposed to most of the 576 412is that were manufactured and which had the GM 3-speed automatic gearbox, this 412i is equipped with the far more rare 5-speed manual gearbox. In this variant, the 412i is transformed and able to be used throughout the power band and which is far more conducive to the Ferrari V12 sports grand touring automobiles of the past. It is truly a gentlemans transcontinental express.
In its first ownership for 25 years, Autosport Designs then purchased this 412i from its Pennsylvania collector owner in 2011. At the time it had only 25,000 miles. Subsequently, the 412i was sold almost immediately to its second ownership, a very good client of Autosport Designs and who has only recently traded it back to us towards another automobile from our inventory. The 412i was then immediately sold to its third collector-owner and former owner of other 412i 5-speeds.
This 412i has always been exceptionally well-maintained and serviced regardless of use and to make sure it is ready for immediate use and show. Although not in need of paint, this 412i was recently the subject of a complete-bare metal repaint to make sure its condition was as new or better.
Without a doubt one of the finest of its kind in the world today, this 412i is offered complete with factory books, tools and recent serving and paint invoices totaling approximately $100,000 for maintenance/restoration work performed.
This is a rare opportunity to purchase a four-seater, manual gearbox V12 Ferrari in absolutely superb condition throughout.
