This fully restored (2016) '70 454 Corvette coupe has been returned to near original condition along with meticulous mechanical upgrades. The owner has provided a comprehensive binder of procedures, receipts and restoration photos/CD along with an Owners Manual. The outstanding Corvette White respray (original color) was professionally done and the 2-piece Targa T-tops are in excellent condition. Accents include all new chrome trim, shielded side pipes and BFGoodrich Radial T/As mounted on 15"x 8" GM Rally wheels w/centers and trim rings. The interior has also been fully restored w/hi-grade black vinyl upholstery – dash, door cards, carpeting, all in excellent condition. Features include Vintage Air (in-op), tinted windows, factory gauges, leather wrapped wheel and an AM/FM/Bluetooth stereo system. All door/window rubber seals are in good condition and the coupe is equipped with the factory removable rear window. A complete interior sound/insulation package has also been added. Under the hood, the 454 ci 'Rat' is the numbers matching motor. The big-block is said to have never required a rebuild and is fitted 427 ci performance heads/cam. It is equipped with Holley's Commander 1000 cfm throttle body injection along with an electronic ignition. Exhaust is routed through a header/side pipe system that sounds amazing. The motor is backed by a 700-R 4 automatic transmission (major upgrade) and posi-traction differential w/3.08 gearing. This coupe has power steering and power disc brakes with 4-piston calipers. Front/rear suspension systems have been totally upgraded with fiberglass mono-springs and HD sway bars to virtually duplicate the design of the C 6 Corvette. Suspension spring rates/ride heights are fully adjustable as are offset rear camber control arms (new bearings). The headlight/wiper vacuum system has also been completely rebuilt with new hoses and connectors.
