Hi there and thanks for viewing. Please read all the info below before replying. I plan on giving a complete description of the car and will have listed and linked over 120+ pictures of the car for honest viewing that can be seen when you click on any picture and will take you to my photobucket account. Up for auction is a rare 1970 Dodge Charger R/T 440-6 4spd Dana 60 barn find project car. little over 350 made with this engine and trans combo and super rare to find. Bigger than a 426 hemi and the six pack just adds to the coolness when you pop the hood open. Now most folks can't afford a concourse restored. ultra high end $80k-$110k car done now a days. so this would be a perfect starter project for a future investment. Story is that this car was bought under 20 years ago and put into indoor dry storage for a future restoration. My friend bought this car from some kids that were going to tub it out to make a pro street race car and saved it before it was cut up and damaged. The Car does have the important numbers on the radiator support. fender tag. vin tag #XS29V0G158XXX. I did find a small piece of broadcast sheet in a bag that looks like it could be to the car. but I have not looked to see if it is the original one to it or if there is another one in the interior. Hood looks good. but has scale rust on the inside and will need to be replaced or dipped to remove it. Passenger side cowl has some filler in it. thought there looks to be no accident damage. looks like someone might have stood on the cowl and dented it that way (remember the Dukes of Hazzard craze?). Driver side door was replaced and door sticker is not correct. As you can see if the pics. the body is in very nice condition and has minimal problems with it. From the dry erea of California desert region really helped keep this car in good condition. Very straight body and with minimal dings and nicks. Trunk pan has a few small pin holes. but looks like it will not need to be replaced. floor. frame rails. quarters. roof. inner fenders. floors. fenders. trunk lid. Dutchman panel. speaker tray. quarter extensions and cowl are not rusted up like most you will find. saving you thousands in sheet metal replacement and installation costs. This would be a good project for someone that does not have the skills to do extensive metal work. The 4spd hump is very nice and also not hacked up. there is a hole in the firewall where someone ran a cable. Only real repair work needing on the body is the rear window regulators were cut out of the car when they were about to back half it into a race car. There are replacement panels and regulators that come with the car to fix that and should be pretty easy to do. Rare Burnt orange on Burnt orange combo makes this one stunning car. Has 6way bucket seats. date correct 440 HP2 long block. flywheel. pistol grip shifter. dana 60 rear end. factory skid plate k-member. bumper jack. original chrome tips rear seat. driveshaft. rear glass and side glass (side glass is in-corrected tinted shade) 3 road wheels and 1 rally wheel. nice taillights. good bumpers. mint grill. factory non-console car. flywheel. gas tank and straps. parking lights. usable and fixable front lower valance. looks like a NOS R/T door scoop. rare burnt orange glove box door and A-pillar covers. box of seat belts. dash shifter light. c-body radiator. replacement bucket seat frames as the driver side seat back needs to be repaired. driveshaft. headlight motor and a few misc parts. Missing the six pack. 4spd. correct radiator and will need a full restoration. Clean paperwork and will help load onto your transport. Not very often a rare car like this comes up for sale. so this is your chance to have a cool mopar. For more info. please feel free to contact me or call 408-623-3290 9am-9pm CA time zone. I do have the car listed for sale locally and will end the auction if sold before auction end.
