1974 Pontiac Firebird Formula NOM Factory 455 Car Automatic Tilt Telescopic Steering Super Rare. Restoration 90% Complete Car is solid! Car was in storage many years and about 5 years ago the car was completely disassembled. (Pictures on the trailer were taken 3 weeks ago when it was taken out of storage the others were today) The body was stripped and repainted, all the weatherstripping replaced and glass installed the car was wet sanded and polished to a super flat finish with almost no orange peel and looks great! There are a few spots here and there that need to be touched up from sitting and getting bumped but nothing major. At the time the body was being done the the front bumper and valance was replaced with a 1972 style which is just placed on and not aligned or tightened up yet since the car wasn't finished. The underside was POR15ed and blacked out again looks very good and solid. Same goes in the truck area just a few pin holes where filled in the floor when the gas tank was removed (needs to be reinstalled). The whole brake system was gone over new lines etc. The engine is a rebuilt 1972 400 with worked heads cam aluminum intake new 750 double pump carb brand new coated long tube headers installed (new exhaust system included but need to be hung) Sub frame coasted and paint a lot of time and a lot of money went into this car!! But now it ready to be finished the way you want it. Keep it stock looking, go for more of a restomod look. The interior is all original and untouched except for rust proofing the floors. All the interior parts are just laying inside the car and truck, 2 sets of seats original (need recovering) and new style There is well over $30,000 invested in the car already. The car will start right up with fuel in the carb. Almost all parts need to finish assembling the car are included except for a radiator, some hardware and probity some misc parts finishing parts. The wheels and tires are just there so you can move around the car there ugly and wrong size but now you can pick the wheel option of your choice! Also there is a functional Bug Catcher Style Scoop air cleaner on the car that I personally hate and yes they cut the original hood to install it but since the original hood is fiberglass its an easy fix! These cars are going up in value like crazy and this is a real formula 455 car! If you want to keep it original looking just simply get a stock bumper to put back on (I personally think the 72 bumper is nicer). The car has a clean and clear tile ready for export if need be!
