This is the first year of the new European styled Continental series and was the most expensive of the Lincoln cars of that era being highly optioned as you would expect. Everything is functional except for the radio which is original and still in the car. I purchased this vehicle from the nephew of the original owner who inherited the car. It was always garage kept and never driven in inclement weather. The car has been kept in a climate-controlled garage. Everything on the car shows beautifully. The undercarriage is as clean as you would expect as is the engine compartment, which is powered by a 3.8 V6 fuel injection engine. The paint and chrome are nearly flawless as is the plush deep, blue velour interior. The car has beautiful wood graining on the dashboard and doors. This is in superb condition! The headliner, rubber, etc. is in near perfect condition. This car drives like a dream with its air suspension system and handles with agility compared to its boxy predecessors. The car has only been driven 12,565 miles since new. The trunk compartment is in as new condition, the tires have plenty of tread and the wheels do not have any dings or scratches. The purchaser of this car will be truly delighted. With such low mileage this is an outstanding vehicle to add to your collection.
