1986 Mercedes-Benz 500-Series AMG/560 SEC

1986 Mercedes Benz 560 SEC Eclipse Audio Demo car Available nor from RMC Miami is this awesome survivor from the late 80 s and early 90 s. The Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC was a top of the line S Coupe manufactured between 1986 and 1991. Our 86' Mercedes is truly one of a kind, this SEC was transformed into an Eclipse/Sound Stream Audio custom display car sometime in the early 90's. This beautiful example had a complete respray done in yellow and tailored to be an all around show car. The paint shows nicely with the deep yellow. The fully polished

AMG Penta wheels are both period correct and widely regarded as the best wheel to put on the SEC. The W 126 coupes sport factory pillarless windows which give these cars that iconic look everyone loves. The car has spent from 1996 till 2014 in California prior to being sold and delivered to Florida where it currently resides. Bottom is very nice with no rust and the car has never been in an accident as it comes with a clean car fax. This car was primarily used as a show car and has just over 100 k miles. The custom interior is finished with hand upholstered matching yellow on black AMG logo seats with yellow piping.

Custom 560 SEC floor mats with matching yellow piping extend the overall theme of the car to the floors and the matching old school NEC phone completes the picture. The dashboard is free of any warpage or cracks and looks nice. The wood is in good shape and not delaminated as is a plague on these older Mercedes. Being an Eclipse audio car the entire trunk was custom made which includes an extensive audio system. The system features Eclipse and Sound stream parts. At the moment the sound system is not operational however most of the neon lighting inside functions as it should. At the moment the ac blows but does not cool. Automatic seat belt extenders function as they should. Mechanically the SEC is in very good condition, runs strong and shifts smooth and has no known mechanical issues. This SEC feels planted, capable and well controlled, with a strong surge of acceleration whenever it is needed. The V 8 Produces 295 Horsepower with top speed at 156 MPH.
