1951 MG TDThis "matching number" TD was rebuilt from ground up about five years ago as a project car. Though the pictures show it as orange, in reality the color is defined as red. Lighting and cameras seem to play havoc with some paint colors. A photo of label of  paint used is included if you should want to pull a color swatch. The EXLU on the Comm. plate indicates it is a 1950 model titled in 1951.(normal for the day) EXLU was used until May 1951 then became EXL/NA. Turn signals became standard at that time. I upgraded this TD with turn signals (as is "51" model) also as an upgrade I added a "lip" seal provided by Moss Motors as a replacement for the original labyrinth rear main seal. Main and rod bearings were replaced at that time.As you can see in the pictures, there is a lot of new wood including the floor panels, complete interior including the trim, carpet, upholstery, and laminated "Rose Wood" Dashboard. New lacquer-braded wiring harness, matching set of five new bias ply tires and a tan "Duck" (Stayfast) soft top. Included are a full set of four side curtain frames (ready to rebuild)  and a new Moss Motors rack and pinion (in box). All gages, lighting, wipers and heater work including the original clock.Please.... serious bidders only......I do require a $500.00 deposit  within 24 Hrs. of closing and full payment within 7 days, by way of cash, bank transfer or certified bank cashier check.
