Ok, I think we have your attention if you are still reading and starring at the first 13 images of this beautiful 1989 Volkswagen Vanagon GL Westfalia Full Camper. We know our Westy has had three owners. Documentation and service histories date back to brand new. We even have the original window sticker. This Westy comes with many cool options and upgrades too. Let's stare at some more images again...No! The model does no come with the car, but the pictures of her with the car do. So, don't be that guy and look stupid asking. She just likes muscle cars like you do.

Interior...

When you open the doors to this 1989 Volkswagen Vanagon GL Westfalia Full Camper, you will instantly see that it looks incredibly clean inside and smells great too. A non-smoker history and our thorough detail make it feel like new inside. We made sure everything inside is functional too. The refrigerator  works great, all interior lights work, the stove and sink work. In fact, the sink water faucet was upgraded. The camper has a huge upgrade with a cabin heater installed. The camper also has an auxiliary battery system and integrated charger on board. I made sure to refurbish the captain chair armrests to function perfectly without wobbles. All of the curtains are present and in great condition. . The interior took hours to clean since the van had been in Moab Utah for years. Getting out the fine red dirt was a trick, but the beauty to the camper coming from Southern Utah is that there was no rust. After you get finish gawking over the interior images, wait until you see the several images I took of the bottom of the van. Just superb there too.

Vehicle Written Assessment This 1989 Volkswagen Vanagon GL Westfalia Full Camper is a fully documented vehicle in the sense of Original Sales Documents and a window sticker as well as all books, service records and receipts. The drivetrain on this 1989 Volkswagen Vanagon GL Westfalia Full Camper looks and performs exceptional. Starts right up and drives like it rolled out of the factory just a few years ago instead of 32 years ago. It's just crazy to look at this car and drive it and not feel like you have been transported back in time to 1989. I bought it in Moab and drove it right back to Las Vegas. Then knowing the AC wasn't functional, I took it to our local German autos repair shop and they replaced the entire AC system. Yes, that's 2500 you won't need to spend because I did. We also had the oil cooler seal replaced and compression checked and she was given the green light. All cylinder between 145-150. When you see the service history, the heads were redone at 99,763 miles. So mechanically, there's nothing pressing to repair. The only inoperative item on the van, the power rear view mirrors. I checked the fuses, they are fine. I did read that door wires for the mirrors go bad so maybe that is the issue, but once set, it's quite unimportant. The body, the frame and the Interior show very well. The paint was completely refurbished with a paint correction detail. Cut, polished and finished with ceramic coating. I also refinished the grills, hub caps and bumpers to like new. There are still plenty of chips, and small dings on the body that you will be able to see in the pictures, but overall, none detract from the overall beauty of the camper. One of the big scratches on the passenger sliding door was from me and I beat myself up about that one. I could spend another 10k making the paint and body like brand new, but you know what that would do to the price range…GoWesty pricing between 75-100k will give you one of those campers if you want pristine body finish. But, If I'm thinking right, you plan to go camping and put on a few bumps and scuffs of your own. Well, look no further and pay no more that you can for something you plan to thoroughly enjoy. This Westy is ready for your cross country trip. Bring your wallet, camping gear and marshmallows and you'll only enjoy the trip with this beauty. This Westy comes with some great options too. A bike rack, an awning that's also lighted. A step plate to get you up to the second level. The interior heater, and new faucet and water pump. It also has a auxiliary battery with its own charger too. An upgraded sound system as well. There is a hitch on the rear too, and it'll tow lite trailers. Tires are like new still too and the brakes are new. The camper tent was also upgrade to the triple window tent too with all new seals. Overall Assessment This 1989 Volkswagen Vanagon GL Westfalia Full Camper is a fine example of an all original Westfalia Camper.

I am a “used car dealer” but before that, I'm an automobile enthusiast. I love original, rare and high quality modified vintage and modern cars. Over the past 19 years I've been in business, I have come to appreciate an expanding selection of high-demand, high value vehicles as well. I specialize in and I am always on the lookout for cars and trucks that were cherished by their previous owners.I have an experienced eye for quality and I've discovered that my preferred buyers can instantly discern such a vehicle and I have therefore, built my business and reputation around finding these kinds of cars for this type of customer. Super low miles and/or gentle ownership are strict requirements but a car must do something for me on a personal level if there is any hope of convincing you, the buyer, that this is an above average, exceptional vehicle. If nothing about the car excites me, it probably won't do much for you either and I would soon be out of business.

With just four employees and no sales people, I realize how unusual a “dealership” like mine may be at a first glance. It has taken great care and effort to create such an organization and often, an unusually high investment in a particular car we are about to list. To sell the best it is critical to have a trusted expert in my corner. First we do an exhaustive 130 point inspection on each and every vehicle and hope nothing escapes our methodical investigation. Experience has shown that everything I spend making a car truly “right” will come back to me not only with a higher selling price, but a happy customer that says good things about Collector's Dream Cars. Moreover, it allows us to describe the car with ease and confidence, something that simply is not possible unless we think it is true. If major issues are found or the cost of fixing the car the way it should be makes it too expensive to sell, my choice is an easy one. I simply absorb a few hundred dollars loss for my trouble and sell it at auction so you don't get a headache over the vehicle.

After the vehicle is fully checked over and made whole at any level it needs to be, we researches its history, documents, documenting originality and authenticity. Historical significance, rarity, special features, possible modifications, and much more are used to accurately describe the vehicle with integrity and honesty. Most important for the potential buyer are the 100 to 200 high resolution pictures that I take myself. The pricey equipment I use would be right at home in the hands of the very best professional photographers and I've developed a logical format that walks you around the entire vehicle with close-up shots of every square inch. I provide detailed views of the interior, under the hood and then put it on a lift to show the undercarriage and confirm that the beauty of the car you are considering is not merely skin deep. Even our detailers are enthusiastic about the cars they meticulously clean. Reconditioning can sometimes take several days as we do all that we can within reason to get our vehicles in tip top condition visually and cosmetically. We do Way more than just a cheap detail. Our details are more like refurbishing to as close to new as we can possibly get our vehicles.

Usually, I'll also include a high definition video that shows the car doing its thing. If it's a fast car, we film it going fast. If it's a 4x4 you'll see it crawling up a hill. In every case you will hear things like a rumbling exhaust, working sound system and watch gauges operation as well.

No “dealer,” on-line or in the real world, takes it to this level. No other seller or organization provides you, the buyer, with so much information. I do this because it is the only way I can convince a person; often a world away, unable to touch or feel their purchase that my vehicle is for real and what I say is an honest assessment. All the above is necessary for me to stay in business while keeping integrity intact. I want every buyer to be happy and I need glowing feedback on eBay.
