1985 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Full Camper

1985 Volkswagen Vanagon WestfaliaUp for sale is my 85 Westfalia Camper. This Westfalia has been upgraded for reliability and increased performance and comfort. Over the years I've taken this VW through most of the Western US and it has made several trips to the end of Baja CA. She has never let me down but the time has come to sell it as I focus on another project. Engine has been re-powered with a Subaru EJ 22 motor with the Small Car adaptor kit and the Kennedy intake. Recently passed CA smog. Fresh windows out basecoat/clear coat paint throughout including door jambs and exposed interior parts. Seals, window stripping, decals, and many other exterior trim pieces have been replaced. Front mounted AC (Vintange Air) with new compressor and hoses. This blows nice and cold and from the front unlike the poor rear units that were an option. The motor had about 170k on it when I installed it nearly 10 years ago and it still runs well. This is a really nice looking and driving van. Over the years the Subaru engine has been very reliable. I've only ever had to replace the alternator and idle control valve. She has never left me stranded despite the high mileage. I recently repainted the van in a Ferrari Rosso Corsa (red) paint in a BASF basecoat/clear coat system. All windows, doors, and trim were removed for painting. The nose sheetmetal was replaced due to dents that were too difficult to rework. New door seals, window seals, and much of the trim were replaced. Items needing attention include: Interior camper light needs hooked up the the duel battery system, the rear slider door window latch is missing, one stove control is missing.
