Mg td 1953 Mark II for sale

I purchased this Mg td Mark II from the estate of D. A Rinehart with 33. 40 original miles on 05/04/2011. It has spent a lot of years in garages.
The drive chain had been restored prior to my purchase. I spent the next 18-20 months doing a body-on restoration (at the advise of my expert mechanic).
The body. fenders and panels were stripped and painted the original black. the brakes and shocks were replaced. the radiator was restored. etc. and etc.
It has a new generator. spark coil. oil filter. and fuel pump.
I made a mahagony steering wheel. shift knob. and veneered dash.
This car is one of only 1710 cars called Mark II TD 3 or TDC.
There were only 226 built in 1953. It featured several special features including larger carburetors. larger valves. twin fuel lines and pumps. and Andrex shock absorbers (amoung several other features). It will come with trunks of spare parts as well as receipts and old papers. It starts easily and drives very tite.
I has a new tonneau cover but the curtains do not fit very well.
Payment will be in cash or certified check.
