This is a rotisary restored 1970 challenger convertible show car. it wins 1 st or Best in Show in every contest it entered in. I restored this car to its orignal triple blue configuration. I only changed the drive train. It started life as a 318 4 speed car with a 8 3/4 rear end. I built a 525 Hemi from a Dodge warrenty new block and heads. The motor is pretty radical. but has been tuned for drivability. I bought a 525 stroker kit for a top fueler. its got a bilt crank. aluminum rods custom. custom crank. custom designed Diamon pistons. 11 quart pan. 2/ 600 cfm Edibrock carbs. Bule printed and balanced to 8000 rpm. heads are full ported and polished This is a tourqe monster. I had the 4 speed transmission coverted to a Posson 4 speed overdrive. 1 st and 2 nd or nomal. 3 rd is 1 to 1 and 4 th is . 8 to 1. at 60 you are only turning 2000 rpm. Custom biult drive shaft good for the almost 700 hp the motor turns out. connneted to a 4:10 Dana 60 out of a 1968 Charger. I had the spring perches moved to the E Body width and had custom wheel spacers fabricated to accomidate the widest wheel and tire that would fit in the wheel well. I have also installed Ground Pounder Suspenstion to make it hook up. During the restoration I installed subframe connectors and and doubled the tourqe boxes. The car has power steering. power front disc brakes and a custome built 5 core aluminum radiator. It has been in muliple parades and never over heated. I have all of the documention of the restoration including recipts and hundreds of pictures
