Seven Hills Motorcars is glad to offer this numbers matching 1972 Camaro in excellent driver condition. The car has great lines; one can even see how clean the car is underneath in the photos below of the car on a lift. This Camaro is very original, totally stock, unmodified, and unmolested. Additionally, the 1970 to 1973 Camaros are the most sought-after of the second generation body style. This is an excellent opportunity to own a classic Camaro that is ready to be used and enjoyed at an unbeatable value. One could easily buy this car now and sell it for more than the purchase price in years to come as these F-Body's are appreciating fast and the market on them is red hot right now.

The Spring Green (36) over White Standard interior (780) is a very rare and beautiful color combination that looks stunning on the car. It is also the correct and original color scheme as verified by the codes on the trim tag, which is pictured in this ad. Besides the correct paint and interior codes this Corvette is "numbers matching" meaning the engine in the car is the original unit that was installed new at the factory. The last six digits of the VIN are stamped on the engine pad and pictured in this ad verifying it as the original engine that was installed at the factory in Norwood, OH in 1971. Please peruse all of the photos, numbers, video, and information in this ad to get a true sense of clean, nice, and original this Camaro really is.

As a side note, this Camaro is not a dealer auction vehicle. We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our classics come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a question about the Camaro, just give us a call.

Exterior

The Green exterior is in nice driver condition. As one can see in the photos, the paint has an awesome gloss and dazzling shine. The chrome and other bright work look great with a brilliant finish and no pitting. The white vinyl top is in great shape. The rally wheels are in great condition with a nice finish and no curd rash. The Hankook white wall tires have about 95% tread left. As one can see in the many photos of the underside the bottom of the car is clean. We have included specific photos of the spring perches, rockers, lower quarter panels, and other areas most prone to rust on a second generation Camaro to show how it looks.

Window Date Codes

Please note that almost all of the glass on this Camaro both pieces of door glass and the rear window all date coded and original as each piece predates the car's body build date of the fourth week of October, 1971 (10D). Original glass is a good indication that this car has had no major accident history and never sustained significant damage.

Interior

The white interior of the Camaro is in fantastic condition. The seats look just in person as they do in the photos with no rips, split seams, or excessive wear. The seats are not overly worn in the typical area on the bolster where the driver gets in and out. The gauge faces are clean and crisp and the gauge lenses are clear. The carpet is in great condition with no stains, rips, or holes. This includes the rear carpet, which is often neglected. The door panels are in good condition overall and fit well to the doors. The door pulls are solid and in tact. The modern radio works well and gets good reception. The dash looks great with no splits, sun fading, or cracks. The original package tray is not warped.

Camaro interiors from this era are not known to wear well and the excellent condition of this interior is a huge testament to the meticulous care and attention this car has received throughout its life.

Mechanical

This Camaro is in seems to be in good mechanical condition. The numbers matching engine starts right away every time, runs well, and idles smooth. This Camaro is a nice driver that feels great on the road. In the video below one can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph, shifting through all the gears, braking to stoplight, and going through some curves. Please note that there are no strange noises or vibrations and the car performs quite well overall. The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. The transmission shifts well throughout the power band. This Camaro has plenty of power and is quite fast. Also, the engine compartment is beautifully clean, detailed, correct, and original as one can see in the photos. The horn works as do the wipers, exterior lights, interior lights, and dash lights. The blower works only on high speed. The a/c compressor clicks on and engages properly. The a/c works and blows cold, but could probably stand a shot of Freon to get icy cold. The car has a very health exhaust note as one can hear in the video. The fuel gauge does not work. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car.

Overall Condition

Overall, this 1972 Camaro is in excellent condition. The unmolested originality, numbers matching engine, and the beautiful color scheme make this car particularly desirable. Original and unmolested examples of the second generation Camaros are hard to find and draw a huge premium in the current market. Numbers matching and originality is extremely important in Camaro pricing and as one can see this car is very original and correct. Cars like this are the Barrett Jackson stars of the future.

This Camaro always gets a ton of attention driving down the road. It is very apparent that the vehicle has been well taken care of by its previous owners. The prices of second generation Camaros have increased drastically over the past years, especially for exceptional examples like this car. They are secure and wise investments for a collector. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price with minimal effort.

Other sellers are not taking the time to show the car is in such great detail with so many photos and a video as well as giving you all of the other numbers. As stated above, numbers matching is extremely important in Chevrolet pricing and will become even more important as time passes and this car becomes older and even more rare. This information is very valuable and important for pricing. Any perspective buyer, for any of our vehicles or from other sellers, should ask for all the numbers and information before he or she makes a purchase.

Thank you for looking and please do not hesitate to email or call with any questions.
