1951 Willys Jeep Station Wagon V8 Auto O/D 4x4 Dual Ac 4 linked Coil Spring ride

1951 Willy's jeep station wagon. This is a turn key daily driver that has been completely restored inside and out. The project started with a rust free Pheonix. Arizona jeep purchased about two years ago. In the last two years its gone through an extensive restoration and modernization. We bought a couple mid 90's jeep Cherokees and one other 52 wagon for parts donors "NOT INCLUDED". The original complete drivetrain was removed and replaced with modern more reliable parts. The front and rear axles "Dana 35's" and the 4 link coil sprung suspension were all retrofitted under the stock boxed 51 willy's frame. The engine is a 318 magnum 5. 2 V8 that is completely rebuilt. It has a edlebrock intake. 600 cfm Holly carburetor. electronic ignition. and a serpentine belt system. It breaths out of a clean 2. 5" single exit exhaust that has a nice but not annoying while driving tone. The power of the 318 is unbelievable. you get the green lite and stand on it and it pins you in the seat and leaves everybody else behind. Very powerful! The transmission is a 518 automatic overdrive that really lets you cruise at low rpms down the highway. Transfer case is a NP249. The front has power disk brakes with drums in the rear. Factory steering box has been replaced with a power steering box while still using the factory column and steering wheel to keep the classic look. The wheels are new steel vintage wheels with brand new pro comp 32 x 11. 50 15 MT's. On to the body. The only metal that was replaced was the firewall and the front floor and only for a cosmetic reason for that nice smooth look. All the glass and rubber was replaced and safety glass was used. It has a brand new Dual ac system that works great. Ac in the front and overhead rear. and heat in the front. The front ac is under the dash and the rear is in the overhead console with the speakers. It has an Alpine aux. stereo with 4 Cerwin Vega 6x9 speakers so you can plug in your ipod or smart phone and listen to music. The whole jeep has been rewired with a brand new painless wiring harness and fuse panel. I will be adding to the description in the next couple days on what I've forgot. Again this is a turn key daily driver that was built to keep but im throwing it out there for sale because I need to fund more projects. This has been my daily driver for the last 3 months where I put the 1057 "plus" miles It has on the odometer. You can tow your boat. go to the store. go off roading. or jump on the interstate and cruze at 55-80 just as smooth as in a modern 4x4 with the classic look of a willy's.
