1924 Flint E-55 Touring – built by Durant Motors Co. . (W. Durant-GM Founder)
Old American Classic.
The design is based on a prototype that Durant obtained from the Willys Car Co. and
with some modifications became the “Original E-55 Flint car”.
This car was built at their factory in Long Island City. N. Y.
Has a Continental L-head straight-six engine
Wheelbase 120” with original Gehrig Wooden wheels and spare
4-Door. body is straight. black paint with red pin stripe (signs of aging)
All glass windows but (1) is cracked (windows not shown in picture)
Original dashboard and gauges
Canvas top in good condition
Runs but could use some service work
Has been stored outside and is getting weathered
A very rare car that with some attention. could be show quality!
It's enjoyable to ride in and you won't be disappointed.
