Here we have for sale this STUNNING, BEAUTIFUL, FULLY RESTORED 1983 Mercedes 280 Sl (R 107), 2.8 petrol Automatic, with VOSA verified mileage, 6 previous owners and plenty of service history + workshop manual!The car belongs to one of my clients. THIS IS A PRIVATE SALE and he will be present! He found it in a dry shed, in Ireland, early this year. Got it over here and started the recommissioning/restoration process. Had some welding done + underseal + front springs + front calipers + brakes + bushes + ball joints + etc...and got it MOTed.After all the above the car came to me, on various occasions, to continue and finish the restoration process. It was driven and enjoyed in-between, all through the summer. I had all the fuel system cleaned, replaced the fuel pump, did a full service, changed the fluids, etc... Runs like a dream!Checked and fixed some electrics, replaced the heater fan, plus everything needed.After that we tackled the interior, by refurbishing all the wood trim, replacing/re-trimming the seats with very hard to find original trim materials, new floor mats, etc..!!!And last but not least we recently finished the body work, replaced the front bumper chrome, had the wheels refurbished and fitted with new/very good tyres and gave the car a full polish/valet!It's also had a new soft top fitted recently, so that's perfect as well as the hard top!AS A RESULT, THE CAR IS NOW UNMARKED AND IMMACULATE INSIDE, OUTSIDE AND UNDERNEATH! NO RUST, NO DENTS, NO SCRATCHES, NOT A STONE CHIP, NOTHING!The only thing to mention is minor bubbling on the rear bumper, which I noticed too late and run out of time/availability to do. Now I started another big project. THE CAR IS AS DESCRIBED, LOOKS EVEN BETTER IN REAL LIFE, GETS APPRECIATED EVERYWHERE AND THE BUYER WILL BE MORE THAN PLEASED!I DON'T DO BODGING!
