1961 Austin A 40 Farina

This very tidy MK 1 Farina was restored and owned by the former technical advisor of the A 40 owners club. This explains why the car is in such exceptional condition and the quality of finish the car has recieved during the restoration process carried out around five years ago.
The A 40 could be purchased and shown straight away by its new owner. the little Austin really draws attention around town. Externally the car looks great in red over black and the car has a lovely Patina about it.
The car is also good on the underside. which will be waxoyled before leaving us for its new home. Under the engine bay the car has benefitted from an engine rebuild with unleaded head. as well as the cars engine bay been detailed which is still very clean and tidy.
Mechanically the cars 948 cc engine pulls and runs well. the cars transmission is smooth with no rattles or whines and overall the car provides a good drive. The braking system works as it should.
The cars interior is very tidy and has obviously been retrimmed during the restoration period. with the seats recovered in black vinyl with red piping setting the cars colour scheme off nicely.
The car will be fully serviced before leaving for its new home and will be offered with a 3 month limited warranty.
Viewing of the car is encouraged at our Halifax showroom.
Delivery can be arranged nationally at a pre agreed rate.
