1970 Mini Mkii Cooper S in Brisbane, QLD for sale

This is a genuine MkII Cooper S which I have owned for the past 6 years. The engine and gearbox were rebuilt about 3000 miles ago. This rebuild included but was not limited to rebore with new pistons and rings. new bearings. reground cam and crank. centre oil pickup. replacement of any gearbox internals that was required. new clutch. rebuilt carbs and distributor. The engine is very strong and will provide plenty of fun trouble free miles. Just before this rebuild the disc brakes were also overhauled with new pistons. seals and pads resulting in a very good braking car. The wheels (all 5) are shod with Yokohama A008's all of which have plenty of remaining life in them. The body has no known rust. the pictures of the boot floor and of one floor section are indicative of its condition. While the paint is presentable and looks good in the pictures there are some flaws such as a couple of scratches and flaking to wheel arch mouldings. The interior is in good condition and is comfortable for those long country drives. The car is currently registered so inspections and road tests are possible. The car will be sold unregistered but if sold in Queensland a safety certificate will be provided. Deposit of $1000 required within 24hrs of auction close. Paypal will be accepted for this. The balance to be paid and cleared in full prior to release of the vehicle. if paying this balance using Paypal you agree to pay the fees. Assistance to non local buyers will gladly be given to help facilitate delivery to your choice of freighter.
