New Photos Added - This is a well known 1962 EK Holden Special Wagon in NSW EK & FB club circles.I am selling this car on behalf of the estate of a very enthusiastic and caring owner who unfortunately passed in 2019 to0 early in life. The owner was not shy in using his classic Holden and they were a regulars at many FB and EK Holden Club of NSW club runs and other runs including Grey Pride (Berrima NSW) The owner also trusted this car on long road trips from its Sydney home including many FB and EK Holden National Events:2012 Mt Gambier, South Australia (via great ocean road)2013 Wangaratta, Victoria2014 Cowra, NSW2015 Hervey Bay, QueenslandI have been caring for this car since 2019 and have ensured it has been regularly maintained and driven. It has always been garaged.I have used this car as a daily driver for a week at a time every two months to ensure that it has not declined from being idle. It is my opinion that a machine should be used regularly or they will inevitably determinate.This is not a concourse car, but it is a usable, practical classic and draws a ridiculous amount of attention.  Everywhere I go with it somebody has a story to tell or question to ask.Mature adults comment fondly,  younger adults think its cool and kids point and say 'look at that pretty blue car mommy' it just makes people smile.I wouldn't recommend buying this car if you are shy and don't love a chat.Please contact me for any additional details, I am as enthusiastic as the owner was and will try to answer any questions you may have.Please request additional photos or videos.Repainted in the correct factory Twilight Turquoise and Grecian White, new grey motor and a beautiful original Special (Star) interior.Open to offers that reflect the market and qualities of this well tested, reliable and practical classic olden.
