Very rare these low light models as you know. First registered on 03/031950 this is truly a very very well cared for example and so solid. No patchwork quilt here underneath and it really does look like all sills and floor pans are original and in truly superb condition. Come and have a look .
V 5 states no previous owners. Can this be correct and in the same ladies name for 63 years???She drives and everything works. even the original trafficators work. Rear brakes are sticking slightly so would need to be collected on a trailer.
This Moggie ALWAYS starts on the button. first time every time. And the original 918 cc side valve engine purrs like a sewing machine. Really nice and presentable in the engine bay as my pictures show.
Obviously she is tax and mot exempt. I only have the new v 5 and a full workshop manual. No other history sorry. I have done a VOSA mot check to see what I could find out and her last mot ran out on the 26/05/2010 and I know she has been garaged ever since. So once the rear brakes are sorted I am confident the old gal would easily mot. but obviously with this new stupid mot rule on pre 60 s cars. you don't actually need an mot!!!!!!!!!!
Inside again is very good as you can see.
Paintwork is not perfect but again has so much patina I would say that it is original 1950 s paint. Certainly no rust or rot or holes!
Mileage is showing as 70. 25 miles.
This rare MM lowlight split screen is just so original and solid that with easy work can be taken to the next highest level and become a show winner. A bold statement but an honest one.
