I purchased this little beauty October 2012. i looked for two years for the right Midget and found this! Below is the description when i bought it:
I looked for an original MG Midget for 4 years then i found this little gem. 1 lady owner from new. rust proofed three times and un-welded. As a time served mechanic "old school now" I knew my way around these little cars and so knew what to look for. So i bought it. Kept in my garage never getting wet then started to do the things all perfectionists do. New carpets. new hood. new wheels and tyres. complete new brakes (it didn't need them but it's done). new hoses complete. new cables all. new unleaded head with upgraded springs. complete new clutch borg and beck. new carbs and i mean brand new. new distributor. new alternator and belt. new king pins and lower arms. track rod ends. wheel bearings and so much more. This is not a rebuild in the back garden midget. it's a one off!
Since purchasing i have added the following:S/Steel 10 row oil cooler kit. new starter motor. chrome boot rack. roll bar and cover. mud flaps. brake drum covers. threshold plates sills. S/Steel detailing under the bonnet eg. coil cover. bonnet latch and fixings etc.

Included in the sale:Car cover. spares included. original wheels and tyres. cylinder head. carbs. original steering wheel. brake wheel cylinders. wheel bearings. starter solenoid.

Recently serviced. HPI clear with printout. Old MOTs back to 1995. Detailed history - all receipts. manuals as seen in pictures. spare keys etc.

To sum up this is one of the last Midgets built finished in stunning russet brown. whether you want to show it or drive it you will certainly enjoy it.
