Nice looking, dependable driver needing a little more maintenance and tlc. This is an authentic, 78 Lil Red Express that appears to have it's original drivetrain. Found passenger side rear frame rail, serial number that matches the other vin numbers. Alabama & Texas vehicle. My ownership experience has been positive and is as follows.

Purchased 07/30/2021.

Quickly realized the previous owner changed front spindles, rotors and wheels out with 1985(larger, 5.5" bolt pattern)or newer spindles, rotors and wheels. This was done several years ago as the rusty, several year old chrome aftermarket wheels matched exactly with the exception of the bolt pattern differences. Yes, I missed this. My 40 year, Chrysler parts Friend, thought that the, correct 4.5 inch rotors would fit the larger, 1985 up spindles. Close, but no cigar. My great friend had a professional machine shop bore the inner hub portion of each rotor. This inner hub rides closest to the spindle bracket so that the correct, larger races and bearings would properly mount on the larger spindles. Mission accomplished. All wheels are now correct, 5 x 4.5 inch bolt patterns.

I have driven this truck 400+ miles

Speedometer, wipers, radio, and horn do not work

AC inop and mostly complete with cut pressure lines

Heater cable frozen

Passenger door glass comes out of lower, horizontal regulator track. You have to hold down top of door glass while you're rolling down

Slight differential whine 50 ish mph

Universal joints need replacement

Each door has holes from previous installation of after market mirrors. Correct, current factory mirrors need attention to hold mirror glass in place while driving

No spare tire or wheel.

Have 1 ignition key that starts truck, locks and unlocks passenger door. Does not work with driver's door

Newer carpet installed incorrectly. Heel pad is almost under bench seat(too far back)

Middle seat belts are included(not installed).
