Hello, Reluctantly up for sale is my 1968 Plymouth Fury III, 318ci 3 speed auto. I've owned the car since 2018 and have loved every minute of it but time and space constraints say that unfortunately, it must go. If I had more of either you wouldn't be reading this now.Good solid body and underside, it would make an excellent restoration project or just use it as it is. I was lead to believe that it was a California car and from what I can see I would believe it to be true. You wouldn't find a 50 year old Ford or Mini this age with underpinnings this good. Many new parts in my ownership:Ignition system freshened up, Rear axle stripped, new bearings, brake shoes, seals etc, Rear shock absorbers,After market oil pressure and coolant temp gaugesTiming chain and gears to name a few.Regular oil changes using Lucas high zinc hot rod series oilChoke has been removed from the carb so she does like to be warmed a little before driving. To be expected with a carburettor. Once it's warmed slightly it sails along nicely. It doesn't use oil or water and doesn't smoke. From what I can tell all the chrome on the car is present and for it's age is in reasonable condition. Things to note that I know of: 1) The boot floor has some small holes, I've not tackled this as I wanted to find someone who could roll me a repair panel out to match the original piece instead of just welding in a flat plate.2) Rear of the passenger rear wheel arch is bubbling and would probably hole if pushed hard enough.3) Bubbling to the underside of the rear window frame. 4) Coolant temp gauge in the dash is stuck on H but as it's now redundant I've not rushed to sort it. 5) Speaker in the dash doesn't work and has been removed. Unfortunately as I mentioned before. I am suffering from a lack of time and space. With that said it is, from what I can tell, and un molested and unrestored Plymouth and solid for a 53 year old car. But it is 53 years old so viewing is encourage and welcomed. I've nothing to hide and I do have access to a vehicle ramp so if you would like to have a walk around the underside this could be arranged.More photos on request if there is anything specific that you'd like to see. Initial contact would be best made through here. I get a lot of cold calls so I don't tend to pick up unless I know the number... Plus I can't always get to nor hear my phone at work. Thank you for looking
