ONLY 65K Miles - Superb BMW E34 525 SE Auto

Here at Old Colonel Cars we have a fantastic example of the rock solid, BMW E 34 5 Series. This superb October 1990 example has covered only 65,000 Miles, a low owner example with only 3 former keepers. Its a 525 SE featuring with the 2 5 multi-valve, straight six engine, mated to the Sports / Auto gearbox. The owner of this car drove it all the way from North England to bring the car to me and of course, it didn't miss a beat. In fact I love driving this car so much, that if you have visited the last weeks, you would have seen me using this lovely E 34 daily. I am surrounded by M 5's, performance Porsches etc, but I still probably went on to you about how nice this car is to drive. It's super smooth, take it up to 70 mph +, still rock solid, no wind noise, everything feels tight and responsive. It has plenty of performance for daily use, easy to maintain and service, if you a looking for a classic to use and enjoy, this E 34 takes some beating.

Finished in the classic BMW colour of Calypso Red Metallic, it looks lovely. It appears to be very original and the paintwork still has a lovely, deep all over shine. Look closer, arches, bottom of doors, filler cap, all the normal places, all good, it's lovely. Underneath, we'll its all very original, original sills, jacking points, all solid, very rare now.

Inside, it features the hard wearing, Dark Grey cloth interior. Take a look at the pics, the interior is in excellent condition. The seats look fantastic, none of the usual wear to the cloth, perfect dash, headlining all good, door cards, carpets, all just as nice. It has a nice spec, including sunroof, heated seats, a later stereo which sounds great.

The alloys are the BMW BBS alloys, which really are the right ones to have on a BMW from this period.

As you probably can tell, I love a good E 34. When they look and drive as good as this one, they are a lovely classic to enjoy and own. People certainly seem to share my appreciation, it gets lots of attention at petrol stations etc …
