Built as a fast and comfortable touring car for the wealthy this Maserati Mexico is powered by a 4.7 litre four cam V 8, transferring all 290 horse power thru a 5 speed ZF gearbox to the Borrani wire wheels. Well equipped, early Italian sports cars, of this era, are often thought of as the first modern sportscars. With plenty of power, air conditioning and electric windows they provide the driver with a fast, comfortable and stylish ride.Few classic cars can compare.It should be noted that most Mexico's came in 4.2 litre configuration with only 175 equipped with this larger 4.7 litre engine. The car we have retains its matching number engine (verified).It has had an extensive nut and bolt restoration performed on it by one of the best restoration shops on the east coast. It was restored in its original color of Sera Blue. The restoration was completed in 2010. A full set of invoices are available.
