Up for sale is my Bug. it is a 1970 1600 twin-port. Rego till 5 May 2014. its running a progressive carb. mild cam and the exhaust system has been opened up (dropped a bit of bottom end but toped has opened up).

theres been a fair bit of body work too. its a "Cal Style" Meaning a lot of the chrome has been removed. the front windows are one piece instead of having the 1/4 2 piece. Bucket seats. racing wheel. the back panel has been filled in for the new muffler that sits just below with some nice Mag wheels there is no rust in the car at all. but the paint work has a few blem's nowadays but still presents quite nicely

The Gearbox pops 2nd and sometimes 4th. I drove it as a daily for almost 2 years and it didn't bother me too much. however it is a cheap easy swap.

Considering the age the Brakes. Suspension and motor are all ace. from what i understand It has had a Engine re-build that included a bore out to 1649 quite some years but not to many Ks ago. Showing 214. xx Miles

there are a few little things that i never got round to doing. pretty well all athstetic such as the roof liner needs to be streched a little more

For a roady i doubt it will need much of anything. i have the original bumper to swap off the t-bars. the horn needs to be wired in and a sponge taped to the steering wheel (non go wheels must have a soft centre. good one Vic roads!) the only other thing may be the Muffler swap to quite it down a little haha. I have another that it went though vic roads with so it would just need to be swapped over.
