1965 Plymouth Fury II (318 Cu inch) 5200cc V8This car was first registered in the uk in 2014. It is believed to of come from the Travis Airforce Base in California as there is a sticker still present on the car.The Plymouth is absolutely sound body wise and underneath obviously due to the climate. It has been painted at some point in white (looking under the bonnet it was originally red). The paint is a bit flat and generally a bit tired however it still presents well from a distance. Personally we would leave it as it is but obviously that is up to the buyerIt has been in regular use in the South of England and is running fine, although there is a slight exhaust blow from the nearside manifold. It starts up straight away every time.The headlining has split away at one of the seams, so this will require attention but is easily repairable. Seats are excellent.Chrome is very good as are all side trims etc. Drivers outer door handle is a bit tempermental. So to sum it up the Plymouth is as sound as the day it was built, paint is a little tired but looks ok. Interior good apart from headlining needing a repair.V5 is here together with a genuine service manual and handbookIts ready to drive away and i would be pretty confident it would be capable of a drive up the motorway.Winning bidder to make contact within 24 hrs from end of auction and car to to collected within 7 days.
