Here is a 1951 Hudson Hornet Brougham Convertible powered by non other than the 308 ci L-head Twin H powered (dual single carb) inline 6. This particular car underwent an extensive restoration in 2009. The Toro Red exterior matches nicely with the dark maroon/grey interior and convertible top. The transmission is a 3-speed column shifted manual. This car runs and drives extremely well with the hydraulically powered top making it easy to go from top up to top down.
In 1951, there were 131,915 Hudsons produced. Just 2,257 of these models (Pacemaker, Super Six, Commodore 6 or 8, Hornet) were brougham convertibles. That's less than ~2%!
