1987 Classic Austin Mini 1275 Mayfair Special Exceptional Car for sale

Exceptional Classic Mini. I have owned this car for more than five years. It started life as a Mayfair but is now a 1275 MG powered Special touring car.
The engine is MG Metro with MG cam shaft which has been fully rebuilt 10 thou over size. Professional Dyno and tuned and set up on rolling road showing over 62 bhp. It has a fully built Somerford Mini gearbox and differential with taller gearing. Achieves lower revs with higher top end for touring.
Body is really good and original steel. Has had a new door and A panel fitted on driver side. Had been thoroughly wax oiled all it's life and it shows. Is finished in white and could even be the original paint. Does have small light dent in bootlid and two small light dents in bonnet. Replaced new black carpet interior. silver dash board with Kenwood radio and CD. Two front classic style sports seats finished in velour not the usual black vinyl. with head rests. Has had sports pack arches fitted at some time but now on woods and picket original style arches.
Currently on British manufactured Revolution 12 x 5 alloy rims and 165 Yokohama tyres all in excellent condition plus 4/5 mm of tread. Fitted fire extinguisher.
This car has taken me on adventures all over Europe including the Stelvio Pass in Switzerland and this year the Laon Historic in Northern France.
This car is on the button and ready for it's next mini adventure today.
Has drilled and grooved front brake discs. uprated master cylinder. mini fin rears. full adjusta ride all round. Moulton handling kit. Gas shocks. new powder coated rear subframe. uprated performance mini spares drive shafts. all new CV and Pot joints. new steering joints the list goes on and on and on. Kenwood CD and radio .
Taxed and MOT. massive history file. 49000 recorded miles and believed to be genuine.
