BMW E34 M5 3.6 Project Restoration Diamantschwarz for sale

Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.1) based on 91 votes
For sale is my E34 M5 as I'm clearing out all untouched projects. This car was bought new in Germany in 1989 and then driven back to the UK, being registered in 2008. The last MOT was also in 2008, and it has been off the road from 2009 onwards (judging by MOT history). This also means it has been converted from LHD to RHD.Also judging from the MOT history, the mileage reads 189,387km (117k miles) in June 2008. The clocks are not installed so I cannot confirm the exact number at present, but I would assume under 130k miles.I bought this car to do up and keep, however circumstances change and I simply haven't found the time to work on it at all in the past year and a half, and I'm running out of space, so I have to let it go. They're one of my favourite cars, I haven't made this decision lightly. Pros:- Genuine E34 M5, with the S38B36 motor and manual gearbox- 2 former owners on the logbook- Not actually in terrible shape- Comes with genuine new BMW rear quarter and outer arch- All interior parts are present, I personally disassembled- 99% of the engine bay parts are there, including rad etc- 2 tone Diamantschwarz Metallic with silver trim- Extended black leather interior- Rear bolstered seats- Perfect restoration project if you have the time and space- Logbook is in my nameCons:- LHD to RHD conversion, Import from Germany to UK in 2008- Rust holes as pictures, front wings have rust at the bottom- I'd recommend an engine rebuild as I haven't personally tested it- Entire car is in pieces, minus the wiring loom, which is still installed- Small dent in roof- Rear quarter needs replacing really (panel provided), or rust can be repaired- 4 mismatched wheels, only 1 of which is an M System- Missing F+R windscreens, had a windscreen chap remove both and he cracked bothI've listed what I can think of above, if you have any questions or would like to take a look, just drop me a message. I've probably left out something daft.Sold as seen of course, buyer is responsible for collection from BMP Conversions in Norfolk. Cheers,Joel
