1956 A 35 Countryman – “show” condition inside, outside and underneath.
This is an extremely rare and genuine “AP 5” model – not a converted van – and has the correct sliding side windows, fully trimmed rear passenger compartment and no roof vent.
Fully rebuilt - engine, gearbox, brakes, suspension, wiring loom, plus all steelwork and paintwork, re-chromed, professionally re-trimmed and more. Mildly upgraded for modern driving conditions. Fitted with a 1098 engine with unleaded head and duplex timing chain conversion, later “rib-case” gearbox, 3.9 differential, and MG Midget brakes all round (front discs, rear hydraulics). These mods are very discrete and could be easily reversed if desired.
Original, transferable number plate. Some history and with a current MOT – expiring April 2022.
