At some point, this MGB has been built for competition use with lowered suspension by 2.5", KONI rear shocks and MGOC uprated front shocks. The engine has been confirmed by the previous owner as a competition engine 1920 cc and so it's really quick with 123 electronic ignition, not like driving a standard B. I bought this B just over a year ago as a lockdown project as it needed some TLC and I was hoping to use for track And sprint days but work commitments have got in the way. I've had a few good touring outings in it though and it's a real head turner. Selling as work commitments & time are against me. There is DVD showing restoration in 1993 and plenty of paperwork with the B including the ownership trail. This is not a show car, it's a drivers car which can be enjoyed on track and on the road. I've had 4 MGB's over the last 10 years and this is by far the best engined and most comfortable B I've driven. Best to be viewed although the pictures give you a good idea of condition. I have added 15" 72 spoke MGC wire wheeels, MGC seats and MGC aluminium bonnet, I just love the MGC look and it's easily as quick. If I was keeping it, there would be a few more things I would do, e.g high torque starter, front KONI's and servo for braking would make this car a complete joy. It also has a period radio, Les Leston steering wheel and new carpets. The original bonnet also comes with the car and the hood is in good condition with no rips or tears and clear rear window, but i have the tonneau on most of the time.
