A small specialist firm for restoring all classic Jaguars. In the last 12 months we have had 6 major US-returned E Type restoration projects. a Merc 190 SL. 1969 TR 6. a Mark 2.
4 of them already completed.
We are seeking 4 new projects from January. We pride ourselves in the quality of our work. and knowledge to build your Jaguar to the correct specifications without going over the top on time and therefore cost. For the price below. you can expect an A 1 car. Unfortunately. our business model does not offer us the ability to focus on
concours cars. as most of our customers are not happy to spend £100. 00.
It takes >1000 manhours to restore an E Type to Condition A 1. We know it from experience. Please take competitive quotes before you meet us. as ours is a fixed price regardless of hours it takes.
£15. 00 FIXED labour charge.

50% advance + 25% at start of respray. balance on completion
We know from experience that almost all cars need the following. so our price includes:
Welding in new panels. Panels to be supplied by you. 1. Inner and outer sills 2. Floor pans 3. Toe boxes 4. All Closing panels 5. Boot floor and rear quarters 6. Wheel arch/ wheel well 7. Bonnet underpan 8. Front wings 9. Fitting and setting gaps for doors. bonnet and boot
Respray: (paint cost included)1. Sanding to bare metal entire exterior. flatting interiors where required 2. Seam Sealing all joints 3. Stonechipping underbody 4. Preparation 5. Basecoat in colour of your choice. plus lacquer
Refitting and rebuilding the car with all mechanicals and glass
NOTE: All costs for parts. repair of mechanicals. electricals. fittings and fixtures. trimming. chrome etc are extra at actuals to be provided by you. We will outsource these to specialists. New body panels to be provided by you where they are beyond repair. Bonnets with minor distorttion because of an accident will be charged for extra at £20 an hour. Lead loading cost £20 per hour for labour plus materials.
We will not rebuild a car stripped down by you. as we will not know whats missing. There are no price discounts. We will not paint a car prepped by you. as we are sure ripples will be evident when its painted.
