1979 Pontiac Trans Am 10Th Anniversary Limited Edition V8 403 CID 4-bbl V8 Automatic Coupe Silver. The 1979 was the 10th anniversary Trans Am came in a never-before-seen silver-and-charcoal scheme with a super bird on the hood with wing tips extended onto the tops of the front fenders. It has cast-aluminum turbo wheel design measuring 15 x 8 inches. Floor-to-ceiling silver-and-gray tones echoing the exterior. The T/A 6.6-powered anniversary Trans Am engine with a shaker head makes a striking alternative to the Bandit's black-and-gold ride. With its special paint treatment, graphics, wheels, among the last of the Trans Ams this one comes with a stock T/A 6.6 403 Oldsmobile engine, 4 Wheel Disk brakes and the large T-Tops and a spoiler. All matching numbers in original condition. As a collectible car from the 1970s, the anniversary Trans Am stands out in terms of desirability and value. Only 7,500 anniversary cars built. 5,683 were built with the 6.6 Liter Oldsmobile 403 and the 350 Turbo Hydra-Matic 350 automatic. Powering this beast is the factory 6.6L V8 engine that is mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission This car has the 403, 4-wheel power disc brakes, power steering, power windows, t tops, and power locks and air conditioning. It was built in the Van Nuys facility here in California. The car is in a full original condition down to the 8-track radio and the original owners manual and the original AM/FM Stereo Radio Manual. The car comes with GM T-Top protecting bags and the original spare with amp and sub in trunk. From the condition of the car, I am convinced that the 87,786 miles on the odometer are real miles with documented mileage through past owner bill of sale copies. I bought it from a person who had it stored for a number of years and I also have had it 8 years. The car drives good, interior is in a very good condition, yet barley weathered plastic, but the seats are well kept. I put new tires two years ago and still only been driven 200 miles. The car has been garage kept. I think it may need some minor things. It sounds strong and beautiful, it has a very minor leak in transmission pan and the motor oil pan, just from sitting. They may seal up with some driving or cost very little to replace these seals. Clean title with no evidence of body work and the paint on it seems to be the original paint, I plan to drive it to the paint shop just to make sure. but the paint looks brilliant with just a couple of small chips. Only noticeable chip in the paint is on the back side fender flare from a road rock. It can be repainted pretty easily. I can try to answer questions through eBay about status. I remade the T-Tops sun visors which are great when you want to drive without your Bandit's hat. Minor issues I already know, Even though it is a California car, it does not have the smog system or the intakes. It has straight pipes. The window motors are slow and weak. Replacement new window motors are included. Antenna does not work, neither does the air condition. I have been planning to renew a few things and keep the car in original condition, so I have many things included that are brand new in boxes, like the front light frame, dash display screen, gear indicator,..I have additional pictures if needed. One thousand deposit within 24 hours of winning, car is released 48 hours from payment clearing.
