I am selling my wonderful 1963 Safari wagon. I bought this car from a friend year sago. He found a very solid clean original Catalina wagon that needed paint. He then gathered up Bonneville trim to clone his 63 Bonneville hardtop. The pant was done 10-12 years ago and stills looks new. New door seals installed at the same time. All doors, windows open and close well. All glass is good and windshield has no pits, cracks or wiper wear that I can see. Car has tinted windows, lighting package, working under hood light, roof rack, spinner wheel covers, radio, heater, remote mirrors and trailer tow hitch.Recent battery, oil change, low mile on tires and brakes. Solid exhaust with no leaks. No large oil leaks, when car is moved floor might have a drip. Body is super solid , look at the undercarriage pictures. The cargo floor in the rear is solid. No patches on floors, just solid metal.. Chrome looks nice but is original and show wear when real close. Interior is remarkable. I removed the carpet savers for the pictures to show how nice the old carpet is. The headliner is perfect. I see no holes in the front or rear seats. All door panels are good except an old patch on the drivers door panel as seen in the picture. Bottom of doors are solid.389 2 barrel carb, starts easy and steers and stops well. Transmission shafts normal. Gauges work, radio inop as well as heater fan - I never looked into them. Car just came out of dry storage of many years. Not a perfect car, but a stunner that needs with very little sorting. I have many other wagons and selling to finance the restoration of my 1959 Buick Invicta wagon. I know I will regret selling , but cant keep them all. Clear title in my name.Inspection and road test are encouraged. I do not have a buy it now price, might keep the car as I lave it.
