1968 Fiat Dino Coupe "Barn Find!" for sale

This 1968 Fiat Dino Coupe has been residing in an air plane hangar in N. Texas for 23 years.   During that time It belonged to a man that has been an Italian car owner. lover. racer and repair shop owner. The mileage shows 3. 62 Kilometers.   It may have turned over once. equaling 64. 26 miles.

We don't know how often it was started or driven during that time.   When we got the car in we made sure the engine was not frozen.   Then we pulled the plugs and put a little ATF in the cylinders and let it sit overnight.   The next morning we took the compression readings and they are all 165 and above.  

The photos show that there is no real rust under the car with a little bit of bubbling at the rockers and the trunk lip where it is double layered.   It looks to have one repaint in the original color and does not show signs of previous crashes or panel replacement. The interior appears to be original to the car.   Obviously the leather is dry from storage but with some hide food it should come back well enough to be kept intact.   The dash top is badly cracked and will need to be replaced.

We have decided to offer this car for sale as is.   If we do not sell the car soon we will likely get the car running and road worthy and relist it with a higher reserve.
