This is an original R/T 4 speed convertible Challenger. With some very rare options including factory air condition. power windows. power top. power steering and am/fm 8 track (however 8 track player not included).   This car has all original sheet metal. I had the car restored and it didn't have any rust on it prior to restoration nor does it have any today. Since restoration the vehicle hasn't been wet with either rain or wash water. It's only been detailed with special spray detailers. It has the rally dash and is a console car as well as bucket seats. The following interior parts are oem and came with the car originally: door panels (no speaker holes). dash and console. When the restoration was completed I did seat slips and a new carpet kit. The dash has a small crack near the main speaker. I opted to keep the original dash regardless of this flaw.

In 2004 I started the restoration on this car. It was Lemon Twist Yellow originally. I had the car stripped down and did a complete rotisserie restoration on this car. I kept as many original parts as possible and spared no expense when restoring original parts and replacing those that could not be restored.   The original engine comes with the vehicle which will make this a complete numbers matching car as the original transmission. rear end and suspension are all intact and have been restored.

The new 426ci crate hemi has been upgraded with twin 4 barrel carbs. for proper look and function of a hemi car. The radiator was also upgraded to the proper 4 core radiator making sure the engine runs cool at all times.

This car rides and drives as though it came off of the show room. The car has been kept in doors it's entire post restoration life. when trailered to events it was always in a closed trailer. It has won numerous trophy's and awards and is still a show winning car. It has great drivability due to the power steering. The power top and windows all function properly and the doors have been balanced so they close without having to slam them.

According some research I have done the R/T convertible was only built in 1970 and approximately 932 of them were built. Of the 932 approximately 130 came with four speed transmissions. Of the 130 only a handful included the options that this car has. This is based on some information we have found and believe to be accurate but I don't guarantee any of these representations regarding numbers built. Please do your own research before making a purchase decision.
