1977 International Harvester Scout II would be a great vintage 4 x 4 to restore or drive as is. This vehicle has spent most of its life at a cabin. The mileage is original at 68 k. Has been repainted at sometime in its life. Looks like the vehicle originally had wood grain siding but has been painted over. It is completely loaded with a 345 cubic engine, factory air conditioning and cruise control!. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly. Does not leak any oil. The glass is original and in good shape. The body is in very good condition - and is 95% percent rust free. The factory clock even still works! Starts right up and drives well. Only needs a few items, based on the new owner's preference:* New AC compressor* New diaphragm for the cruise control* Seats need recovered* Paint Scouts in mostly original, unmolested condition are getting harder and harder to find, especially at a reasonable price.
