This baby comes with a massive history folder and has been serviced by lotus continuously from new which is rare with these cars. The cam belt was changed about 2000 miles ago. I just had the wheels refurbished and fitted with new Toyo tyres. She really drives like a dream, starts first click and runs really smooth. The interior is still in lovely condition, the headcloth is sagging a bit so this would need replacing at some point just to leave the interior tip top. The Lotus Excel is a much better car for driving than an Esprit, power steering and slick gearchange from the Toyota Supra gearbox makes these special cars a delight to drive. There's plenty of room inside too if you want to take the kids or go on a big road trip. Too many Excel's have been badly neglected and a lot of them have ended up in really awful condition. This particular example has always been driven and maintained regardless of cost and is evident at how tidy she is inside and out.
